Go to Administration Control Panel->Posting->BBCodes
And complete the forums
BBCode usage with

It is the same thing if you insert this in a topic...or on first page of the forum.

And if is not working, please let me know and give me your forum name, and where you want to put that chat box and i will insert for you.
