The spam bots have been attacking my site...about 2 dozen per day. After looking up the users, I have found a majority of them have .org, .info at the end of their email address.

I tried something today that I don't know if it will work yet. I banned email addresses as such:
*@*.org
*@*.info

Since no legitimate users registering on my site have .org or .info in their email address, I'm hoping that it will work. You think??

You're right! I haven't had any .org or .info's register since I did the double asterick trick. I can tell people in my welcome post that they have to register with an email that doesn't contain .org or .info...and any others that I should ban via double asterick.

First i think you need to send a message to all users and tell them to change their *.org or *.info to other e-mails because they are banned now and can not acces the forum anymore because that restriction. (if you have allready real registered users with such e-mail addresses
