I have emailed 2 complaints about this site http://tk.free-forums.org/ with no response from anyone about it. This is ridiculous, you claim to protect the public from this kind of abuse yet you don't check the e-mail account you have in place for complaints.

I am going to contact my attorney on Friday 01/12/07 and see if she can't get a response from you.

The forum i am complaining about is a Game related Forum that has many children visiting it. If this is allowed to continue I will also report you to as many child advocate organizations as i can find. I have seen comments made to a 15 year old boy about him having a "BONER". This post was made by an adult. I have been called every word in the book "profanity" for pointing out to the administrator that this is a violation of the TOS i agreed to when i joined the board. The administrators reply to me contained profanity as well.

This is all taking place in the public areas of this forum. Here is a link to some screen captures from this forum, some of the violations have been highlighted in green and the Administrators violations are in red. Warning adult content will be found here

Please do as you have said that you would do when a site contains this kind of content and remove the forum.

I am starting to wonder if an e-mail to there Spencer's is in order here.

the free-forums.org forums are being hosted by theplanet.com hosting service. I will e-mail them at abuse@theplanet.com if I get no response from the free-forms folks. There are always other options that can be used when one fails.

I don't want it to come to that as it will affect all the forums being hosted from here. I would much rather see the administrates here correct the problem.

i am going to spend my weekend emailing child advocate sites and showing them the crap that is being posted in this gaming site. I am quite sure they would have an impact on the admins here and if they wish they can contact the hosting service themselves.

Just the fact that an adult is asking a minor about his boner should be enough to get them going, especially with all the child molesters in the news as of late. Heck i think i will e-mail several news organizations as well, I bet they would also have a field day over this.

Oh, I talked to my attorney and she will take up the fight once I exhaust all of my options (for free).

No, I'm not ignoring you ! The owner of these forums was changed a few days ago, I'm the new owner. So. I will take care about the problems you all have, but now I have too many to fix , and I have many exams in next 2 weeks, after that, I will respond to all user problems !

I am happy to see that someone has taken over this service. The previous owners have been nowhere to be found for several months now and many complaints have gone unread. I am sure glad to hear that someone is going to once again take care of the FreeForums users needs.

I have referred many many users to your service in the past and will start again when I see some of the problems getting resolved or at lease get addressed.

I have 3 past users of your service now being hosted on one of my server and will suggest they return here if things start being maintained again.

Any comments or remarks that i have previously made on this forum were directed to the OLD owner and not to you. my complaint about the TK.free-forums.org site still stands and I hope you can help clean this gaming site of it's profanity. The Administrator seems to think he should be able to use profanity in his forum and children need to learn about it and not be protected from it, well at least that is what he said in a post. I believe that every parent has the right to protect their children from such language and was under the impression that the TOS gave the parents the understanding that there children would not be subject to it on one of your forums.

As I said, I'm the new owner, I will have much spam and other things to clean. I want to make free forums much better and clean than was before. So, 2 weeks from now on I will be a little busy with other things, and after that I will take care of free forums better than old owner . don't worry the old owner it is a nice guy, but his free time was too short to take care of free forums. Please tell me the exact link on that forum where you will find the problem (i'm imposible to search all forum to see where is the problem), and after that I will send a message to his admin and if I receive no answer I will delete myself that posts or more. ok ?

This is a complete ruse by a disgruntled player that through his own ineptitude and social behavior is the ridicule of our little community of players.

A brief look at the posts by "Thor" and many other alias's will exemplify his behavior. He's even signed some of his posts "d.bar" on our site as well. This guy is a real genius.

I am the site admin and received an email regarding this for the first time, although I thought he may be playing the childish game of trying to get our forum removed after no one bothers to listen to his insane rambling. I suspect the email is phony as well. The email is stated as coming from the host owner and if it indeed did I gave further contact information for myself to resolve this. There was mentioning of a user who was banned but we have no current bans in place and in fact have never banned anyone.

An email sent to my work just now may indeed indicate the email from this host's owner/admin was/is legit. I'm hoping so, so that the issue may be resolved.

The weak evidence shown below are posts only after the fact that this concerned poster here (he goes by Thor on our forum, see for yourself the type of character we are dealing with) provoked our users with his insane ramblings and hijacking of numerous threads.

We tolerate this individual because we don't want to squash any remarks regarding our group, keeping the open discussion up regardless if puts our gaming group in a bad or good light. We are all adults and take responsibility for our actions, and we are a clan that have nothing to hide. The fact that we advertise the other clans in our gaming circle speaks for itself. We wanted a site that promotes cross discussion regardless if its on our board or not and increase awareness of other groups out there so others can make up their own mind who they would like to join and interact with during game play.

I'm sure it will be evident after looking at our board that we have heated discussions at times but for the most part are well thought out. Of course like any gaming board we have flame threads and that's ok too. It’s a game after all. And I'm also sure that the free-forum hosts/admins will clearly see this ruse by Thor (BanthaLeader here, I go by BanthaTracks in the Mechwarrior world so you can see his admiration for me ) to get our forum removed after he's thrown a fit on our board and we've grown tired of his insane ramblings.

I'm sure other popular forum sites have this same issue. I'm interested in hearing what other forum admins have done to address it.

My final decision:

Dear BanthaLeader, for a few posts, I can't delete an entire forum with thousands of good posts. I will not do that !
The internet is full o spam, sex, profanity and other bad things etc so, many children (as you said) can visit this. So what ? The only solution is keep away your children from computer, TV, etc. Forums are communities of people to discuss what they want, when they want ! You can see a web page , or you can put a restiction for your children to not access it. If I will delete that forum, they will acces other web site with more bad language, then what ?Delete all Internet ? This is not a solution Mr. BanthaLeader.

BanthaTracks can (or not) delete these posts, or he can give a warning to the man who posted that !

My decision is final, http://tk.free-forums.org/ will remain online !

Yeah I agree with support strongly.

There are a few bad words (which you've reposted by image here) but they haven't done anything to have their forum deleted and it is a popular forum.

If you really don't like them and you are into this kind of thing try setting up your own forum and advertise it and register it on the major search engines. It's free, just type add url free into google and check the results.
