This feature has been disabled due to security reasons, please contact the administrator if you want a backup of your forums.

That is the message I get when I click "Backup Database"

Now what?

we don't offer database backups because of the special database configuration for hosting multiple boards.
i can backup only the database which contains all forums.

Hi,

I need to obtain a backup of my database file for the forums, I need to port all of the information over, and as noted above, the backup option is unavailable.

Also, as you noted there was a reason for this, but my question is this.

Is there any way for us to obtain a backup of our forums? I really need one badly.

If these are seperate SQL databases then it shuold be easy. IF they are not, then you still should be able to port out the data through query analyzer for the table itself that contains my database information.

Please let me know what you can do to help.

i cannot offer backups because it's a common database for all forums and the database size is over 1.5 GB. sorry.
