We updated the PhpBB software to the latest version (2.0.19).
If you find anything wrong after this update, please post here.

As we promise, we installed the eXtreme Styles Mod on all forums. This mod will eliminate all template errors and logo issues.

This is an alternative template system for phpBB designed to work much faster than standard phpBB and use less resources. It has templates cache, much faster template compilation algorithms and better template variables handling. On average templates work faster 2-4 times compared to standard phpBB template system. It also has advanced styles admin. You can easily install/uninstall styles, change default style and edit style data.

How logo upload function works:

- Logo can be uploaded or linked remotely via http://
- Admin can set individual logos for every style. Also admin can reset any logo any time if he wants to.
- Admin can quickly preview any style when changing logo (no need to change default style in profile to test new logo)

In addition, we added some more templates (330 templates now on Free-Forums.org) and we deleted some incorrect templates. So, if you will see that your forum is using the standard PhpBB template (SubSilver) it means that your template wad deleted because of incompatibility with the new PhpBB. So, please just install another template of your choice.

The Img2Host.info upload form and quick reply will be added to all templates in a couple of days.

I just posted this elsewhere in these forums, then recieved notice to post it here:

Hi! I went up to my ELC Forums and found that my banner was squished and distorted. This just happened since yesterday, when it was fine. so I went into my adminstration panel expecting to find "banner" and that was gone, meaning I can't even take off the now-distorted banner!

Help! I really want to use my banner and have it look right like it did yesteday. Crying or Very sad

You can use the link "Menu" from Style Administration. Here you will find a option to upload another banner

Any idea how soon the Img2Host.info upload form will be installed back on the templates again? I don't see it on my forum yet.

How come every time I assign a logo to my Glass template it doesn't show up? I'm pretty sure I'm doing everything right. The preview had it right and it has the right picture in the current logo area, but on the actuall page it still has the PHPBB logo. WTF?
